About ADAPT

The ADAPT Housing Register is a central waiting list within Swansea for disabled people who require a high level of adaptations in their accommodation. Having one central register ensures the most efficient and effective use of existing adapted accommodation across Swansea.

The register has 1 category:

• Applicants requiring a fully wheelchair accessible property

Once you have made a housing application, your details will then be passed to ADAPT and we will contact you to arrange an assessment of your housing needs.  This will be completed via a home visit by our Housing Assistant.

If, following the assessment, you are eligible for ADAPT, you will be placed onto the ADAPT waiting list.  If you are not eligible for the register, we will advise you and advise of other housing options available to you.
